Landscape and Nature Reserves
-
Sweden
The Skåne region is located in the south of Sweden. A vast landscape with agriculture, forests, lakes and a varied coastline.
Remnants of the Vikings can still be found in the landscape.
-
De Veluwe
The Veluwe is an excellent place to enjoy nature and a huge variety of wildlife.
The landscape is very varied, deciduous forests, coniferous forests, heath and grasslands and sandy plains.
The Veluwe is known for its Red Deer, but there is so much more to see such as birds, badgers, foxes, pigs, raccoons and wolves, and of course much more.
-
Airbase Twenthe
What was once an impressive military airfield over which fighter jets flew, has been transformed in recent years into a beautiful nature reserve.
-
Twente
Photo impression about Twente.
-
Zwillbrocker Venn
The Zwillbrocker Venn is located just across the border in the German municipality of Vreden. This protected nature and swamp area is a breeding ground for numerous bird species, including a flamingo colony.
-
Haaksbergerveen
The Haaksbergerveen is a sub-area in the Buurserzand & Haaksbergerveen. It is a raised bog nature reserve of approximately 500 hectares in the border area of the Dutch province of Overijssel and Germany.

My Videos
Nuthatches building a nest
This is my first film about these lovely little birds.
I hope you enjoy this.
Baby Roe deer
My son and I went into the woods in the evening to see if we could find any more deer, but what we found exceeded all expectations.
We sat down to wait at a location where I knew where they were. After half an hour this happened......
Thanks for watching!

The Veluwe part 1.
The Veluwe is one of the largest vast nature reserves in the Netherlands. In this area we find a great diversity of fauna and flora. In these short video films I try to show as much as possible of what lives in this beautiful area.
In this video you will see Red Deer, a Fox, Wild boar with Frislingen and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.
Enjoy watching!
ABOUT ME
From a young age I was taught to enjoy nature by really looking and listening to it. Hiking tours and travels in Europe and later in Asia have inspired me to develop as a photographer.
To be lucky enough to live in the eastern parts of The Netherlands and therefore always have the opportunity to go out. Close to home, but also to the Veluwe, the peatlands or just a little bit further across the border in Germany. There is always something worth photographing, beauty often lies in simplicity.
